Vienna is renowned for its rich art history, and our hostel fully embraces this creative spirit. The Hostel truly is run by artists, for example Stefan, who, before becoming the Boss created the Logo of the Hostel together with Courtney another, now ex-, staff member.
The art on the walls was mostly done by staff members like Alida with her pencil drawing of two lovers, Sonja Stangl who has continued to win numerous awards after leaving the Hostel has contributed to numerous art pieces in the Hostel like the «drunk elephant» on our own microbrewed beer!
So naturally you will find in-house art exhibitions that rotate regularly, showcasing a diverse range of artistic styles and mediums. At the moment we also feature some of the paintings of Deborah Ferreira, Bransha (Branislava Nikolic) and Magdalena de Albuquerque.

Join us in our bar and garden, where you can jam with fellow guests or enjoy live music performances by talented local musicians. With our Piano, guitars – all free to use – jam sessions are a regular thing at the bar in the evenings.
As we do you can also draw inspiration and exhibit some of the timeless works of Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt to the dynamic realm of modern street art, Vienna has always been a sanctuary for artistic expression. Many guest leave us little drawings and post cards that we are sometimes turning into prints and selling at the Hostel.
We are always happy about fellow artists being inspired here so you are very welcome to add your own pieces into our tapestry!
