Whether you arrive by plane, climate-friendly by train or bus, you will find us easily!
We highly recommend using public transport while exploring Vienna. Google Maps will be your best friend here, providing reliable and accurate info on routes and schedules.
Are you traveling by public transport?
Getting a public transport ticket is easy! They can be purchased online at Wiener Linien. or in person at the machines located on trams and buses, U-Bahn (metro/subway). If you get your ticket from a machine, don’t forget to validate it!
One you arrived in the Hostel you can purchase our cheap (5.- per day) ticket. It is an exclusive service in our Hostel you wont get anywhere else.
Keep in mind that random ticket inspections can happen, especially during busy seasons. If you don’t have a valid ticket, you could be fined up to 100 EUR.
Did you flight to Vienna?
Getting to the hostel from the airport is easy! Just take the Airport Bus VAR1 for 10.50EUR (2024) ; you will arrive at the Westbhanhof Train Station in 45 min. You can purchase the ticket online or on the bus by card or cash. You can also get it from the machine next to the bus stop at the airport.
The hostel is 5 min away from Westbahnhof, we will be waiting for you!
Are you coming by car, bike or motorbike?
All of central Vienna is a short-term parking area, even where there is no sign! Parking is free on weekends, holidays, and in the evenings (10 pm – 9 am). To park during business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 am – 10 pm), you will need a prepaid parking voucher (up to 2 hours only). Find more information at Park&Ride
Motorbikes park for free anytime.
Unfortunately, we don’t offer full-day parking but we do offer free 15-minute parking vouchers for unloading the car are available at the reception.
We do offer our garage for bikes for free.
